Book Redesign for “Lotus: The Complete Story”
This project consisted of creating a book jacket and inside spreads for any book of our choice. I wanted to design something that would feel more attractive to consumers when browsing the shelves at a bookstore.
The book had more of a picture focused cover of a lotus, while keeping it minimal with only displaying the title and author. However, I wanted to update its cover by showcasing Lotus’ colors, as they are vibrant and noticeable. I also wanted to take this modern update and let it affect the inside spreads as well. With images from the book interacting with the text more and having more visually pleasing chapter start spreads.
